West Valley Mission Community College District has two campuses serving SONA residents. Both campuses offer a wide range of educational, technical and vocational programs. With a wide variety of financial aid programs, both campuses offer low to no cost education. In addition, both campuses provide programs that allow high school students to earn college course credits while still in high school, enabling them to jump start higher education and career development. Established in 1963, this campus is located on more than 140 acres adjacent to the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Saratoga. Students enjoy a rich experience as they earn degrees and transfer credits or obtain technical or career building certificates along side students from more than two dozen other countries. Located at 3000 Mission College Blvd in Santa Clara, this campus is right off of Great America Parkway. The campus enjoys direct bus transit, proximity to light rail, and is near Hwys 101, 880 and 237 as well as the San Jose Mineta Airport and connections to Hwy 85. Students earn degrees, certificates and transfer credits in a wide range of programs that include health care, IT, and hospitality management while taking advantage of a robust program of scholarships and financial aid.
